Google Rolls Out November 2021 Webspam Update

On Twitter, Google announced they're rolling out a November 2021 webspam update that can detect low-quality web pages, which will improve their search engine systems going forward. They expect to finish the update within a week.


Their tweet advised the SEO community to follow their webmaster guidelines as always and produce quality content based on Google's E-A-T concept. The overall vibes in the comments section were generally positive, because who wants to read spammy and unhelpful content?

Websites that violate Google's webspam guidelines will be penalized with lower-ranking positions, or worse, removed from their search results pages.
