#ICYMI, Google's #CoreWebVitals update is a new industry standard in web development, rewarding websites that are performance-driven, load fast, are visually stable and offer excellent user experiences.
But here's the bottom line if you want to rank well and avoid being seen as invisible to Google.
You want to score green in 3 main metrics: Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
LCP is how fast your largest element initially loads on screen. To score well here, you basically want to have all your elements painting under 2.5 seconds or less.
Next up is FID, the first impression metric that evaluates how long your website takes to become ready for user interactions when they click, tap, input actions, etc. and here you want to score 100ms or less.
Finally, we have CLS, a visual layout stability metric that measures the total amount of elements that have shifted throughout the entire webpage viewing experience. Anything scoring above 0.1 isn't passing.
No need to bore you with more technical details of the update β all of that info is right here:
https://wfy.cc/0PdTDYet less than 3% of websites score well with this new update since they rely heavily on 3rd-party apps, themes, and plugins bloated with JavaScript.
It's a shame to hear stats like that, but for websites with WebFindYou, our technology was strategically architectured from scratch with technical #SEO and conversion rate optimization in mind.
